NorthCode Academy is a private career college operating in Ontario, Canada. While we are committed to providing high-quality technical education and career support, we do not guarantee employment outcomes for any graduate. Employment statistics cited on this website — including our 94% placement rate — are based on internal outcomes surveys of graduates who were actively job-seeking, and individual results vary based on factors including prior experience, effort, geographic location, and labour market conditions.

Our programs are not accredited by a Canadian university. Credits earned at NorthCode Academy may not transfer to degree-granting institutions. Prospective students should conduct their own due diligence regarding whether our programs meet their personal and professional objectives before enrolling.

4. Acceptable Use

When using this website and our services, you agree not to:

  • Use any automated system, including bots, scrapers, or crawlers, to access or extract content from the website without our express written permission.

In no event shall our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from or related to these Terms or the use of this website exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount you have paid to NorthCode Academy in the 12 months preceding the claim; or (b) CAD $100.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NorthCode Academy Inc., its directors, officers, employees, instructors, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of this website or our services; (b) any information or content you submit through the website; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.

10. Force Majeure

NorthCode Academy shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, epidemics, government orders, civil unrest, acts of terrorism, war, cyberattacks, internet or telecommunications failures, cloud infrastructure outages, power failures, or labour disputes.

11. International Use

This website is operated from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We make no representation that the content, services, or materials available through this website are appropriate or available for use in other jurisdictions. If you access this website from outside Canada, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with all applicable local laws.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

If you are a consumer resident of the European Union, you retain any mandatory consumer protection rights afforded to you under the laws of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms affects those rights.

13. Dispute Resolution

Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, you agree to first contact us in writing at [email protected] and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for a period of at least 30 calendar days. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within that period, either party may pursue formal legal remedies in the courts described in Section 12.

14. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to this website and our services, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the website ceases immediately. The following sections shall survive any termination: Intellectual Property (Section 5), Disclaimer of Warranties (Section 7), Limitation of Liability (Section 8), Indemnification (Section 9), Governing Law (Section 12), and any other provisions that by their nature should survive.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be deemed severable from these Terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions. The unenforceable provision shall be replaced with a valid provision that most closely approximates the intent of the original.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and NorthCode Academy Inc. regarding your use of this website and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, proposals, and agreements, whether oral or written, relating to the subject matter herein. Separate enrolment agreements for specific programs may contain additional terms that supplement — but do not replace — these Terms.

17. Assignment

NorthCode Academy may assign, transfer, or delegate any of its rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction and without notice to you. You may not assign, transfer, or delegate your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. Any attempted assignment in violation of this section shall be null and void.

18. No Waiver

The failure of NorthCode Academy to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. A waiver of any term shall only be effective if made in writing and signed by an authorised representative of NorthCode Academy.

19. Modifications to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where practicable, post a notice on our website homepage at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the website after the effective date of any revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

By using this website and submitting forms, you consent to receiving electronic communications from us, including emails, form confirmations, and notices posted on this website.
